Flat blanks in, square-formed and bottom-sealed cartons out. Soontact's carton erector handles a wide box range from a single machine, cutting manual box-building labor from your packing line.
A five-stage cycle takes carton blanks from the magazine to a fully erected, bottom-sealed box ready for filling — no manual box-building in between.
Flat carton blanks stack in the magazine, with side guides that adjust across the full 150–400 mm width range. Loading is a manual top-up task — an operator refills the stack while the machine keeps running, so there's no full stop between batches. Switching to a different carton size is a guide-rail adjustment, not a tooling change.
A multi-cup vacuum head separates the bottom blank from the stack and lifts a single sheet toward the forming station on each cycle. The suction pattern is what keeps double-feeds and skipped picks from creeping in as the cycle rate climbs toward the top of the 5–15 cartons/min range, which matters most when the paperboard is on the heavier end of what the machine's rated for.
Guide arms open the folded blank and press it into a square cross-section before it moves on to the bottom-folding station. Getting this step right is what keeps the finished carton from coming out skewed or under-square — a common failure point on lighter-duty erectors that this machine's forming sequence is built to avoid.
Bottom flaps fold in sequence, then the sealing head runs a strip of tape across the bottom seam at the width set for this machine — W48, W60, or W75 mm. The carton leaves this station bottom-sealed and top-open, ready to move straight into a filling or cartoning step without anyone touching it by hand.
The formed carton releases onto the outfeed conveyor, bottom-sealed and top-open, ready for a manual pack station or an automatic cartoner like the TL-CT-200H / 300H further down the line. Because the erector and the next machine don't have to run at identical speeds, an accumulation conveyor between them absorbs the difference so neither one sits waiting on the other.
The bottom-sealing head is configured for one tape width per machine build, matched to your carton weight and shipping requirements.
Tell us your carton weight and tape width when you inquire — we'll confirm the right configuration for your line.
The magazine's width guides adjust across the full 150–400 mm carton range, so changeover between box sizes is a guide-rail adjustment, not a retool. Multi-cup vacuum pick-up keeps single-sheet feeding reliable even at the top end of the 5–15 cartons/min range, and the forming arms square each blank before it ever reaches the bottom-folding station — the same sequence that keeps carton shape consistent seal after seal.

Speed and carton range shown are for standard configuration; actual throughput depends on carton material and target box dimensions within range.
Watch the full erect-and-seal cycle, then see how the outfeed pairs with a downstream cartoning machine.
Positioned upstream of the TL-CT-200H / 300H, the carton erector opens, squares, and bottom-seals each blank, then releases it onto the outfeed conveyor with the top left open. From there the carton travels straight into the cartoner's infeed already formed and ready to receive product — no operator stands between the two machines building boxes by hand.
An accumulation conveyor between the two machines buffers output, so a difference in cycle speed between the erector and the cartoner doesn't stall the line. Tell us your target cartoning speed and carton spec when you inquire, and we'll confirm conveyor spacing and whether one erector keeps pace with your TL-CT-200H or TL-CT-300H, or whether a second unit is worth adding.
Ideal upstream of manual pack stations or automatic cartoners across a wide range of industries.

Every carton erector is tested and QC-checked on our factory floor before it's crated for export, running the same carton range and tape width you'll use on your line.
